the hunger games

day 261:


a friend of mine recommended that i read a book called the hunger games. he told me that it was the first book in a trilogy, and that once i read it i was going to be hooked.

they are technically young adult literature, but that never stopped me from reading a book before... actually i like young adult lit because i can read a book really quickly, then move on to something else.


so... the first book was good. the second, catching fire, was awesome. the third, mockingjay, i just started tonight, and cannot wait to finish.


i would recommend them to anyone. 


and the cool part is, they are making them into movies. i am scared of being disappointed, but excited at how awesome they might be. 


you still have time to read them before the movie comes out (march 23rd). so go get them for your summer reading!! perfect for an easy read on the beach.
